We asked you, our beloved users, to help us decide which features we should include in New ActiveCollab. Each of us brought something unique and unique to the mix with our skills and perspectives. We can confidently say that New ActiveCollab has the best, most beautiful, and most powerful ActiveCollab yet. However, there are many other significant changes and improvements that have been made throughout the product. Here are six of the most significant ones: Task Dependencies with Automatic Rescheduling
We are proud to present the most important and requested feature of New ActiveCollab: Task dependencies with automatic scheduling. This feature is revolutionary and allows ActiveCollab be used in new ways. This feature allows you to make child tasks dependent on parent tasks. This greatly increases the possibilities for project management. This feature allows you to have greater control over your tasks, including when and how they will be completed. There have been many times when projects would stop because people couldn’t continue their work until the next segment was completed. Task Dependencies make it easy to know when a task is due to be completed and which tasks are required to complete it. If you change the date of parent tasks, the child tasks will also be adjusted. Task Dependencies take weekends and days into account so you don’t have to waste time manually ticking them off. Since Your Last Visit
Sometimes ActiveCollab is not available for a few days. All the tasks and projects that we are involved in continue to progress even when we are not there. We would normally spend a lot time trying to find out what happened while we were gone when we return from vacation. Project managers would need to take some time off their normal schedules to ensure that we are up to date with our tasks and understand the results.
